OLS – Lesson 6: The Calendar Of Life LESSON 6 - The Calendar of Life The third part of the ARISE formula is the activity/worksheet. As you have heard in the video, this is the "fun" part of the lesson. It should be very interactive and meaningful to the subject of the lesson. In this lesson, the activity is done using four steps: Divide the learners in small groups. Have them complete the activity worksheet individually at first. Write or draw a positive and a negative personal life experience that the youth can relate to. Discuss each positive and negative experience as a group. Present one positive and one negative experience chosen by the group. Even though ARISE lessons are designed to be very interactive, in an online learning environment such as the one you are going through now, it is impossible to mimic the interactivity that should take place when you teach the youth and was shown to you in the video. Keep that in mind when you are conducting an activity with your groups. Fill out all the fields on this form, then click the SEND button below. Then write about how they affected you and helped to make you who you are today (positive, bottom-left box) and negative bottom-right box). For these purposes, don’t worry about grammar and spelling. Do the best you can to satisfy yourself. POSITIVE EXPERIENCE NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE [ssba_hide]
